Bevor die Nacht mal wieder bei Ringelbeats mit Anbassen durchgefetzt wird, gibt es die Release Party der Moekicks aus Dorsten, die von dem furiosen Duo Isla Ola aus Dortmund unterstützt werden.

The Moekicks sind eine sieben-köpfige Neo-Soul Band aus Dorsten. Ihre Musik ist, was klingt, was groovt, was Soul hat und was tanzbar ist. Beeinflusst werden sie dabei unter anderem von Künstlern wie Raphael Saadiq, Joss Stone und The Roots. Im Rekorder präsentieren sie ihre neue EP Four Two Seven O“
Isla Ola aus Dortmund machen Trip Hop. Seinen ersten Auftritt hatte das Duo im September im Dietrich-Keuning-Haus – die intensive Show, das warme Soundgefüge und die starke Livepräsenz haben wohl keinen der Besucher wirklich glauben lassen, dass es ihre erste Show war. Sowohl die tOnbande als auch die Moekicks, beide an dem Abend als Besucher vor Ort, sind Fans geworden. Unsere Partyreihe findet an diesem Abend mit einem ganz besonderen Gast statt:
Dj ALEX SOUND (Higo Mordido). La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain. Alex Sound is a dj in loved with vinyl, influenced by great anthems from the past. Known for his contributions to clubs and festivals with a selection of musical assortments in 33 and 45. His sessions can be distinguised by the use of vinyl format, turntablism techniques and an exquisite fusion atmosphere full with new and old sounds such as Funk, Soul, Acid Jazz, Afrobeat, Break Beats, Nu-Jazz, Hip Hop, Broken Beats, Trip Hop, Boogaloo and Jazz among other experimental sounds, unclassifiable or Rare Beats.

To bring up even more variety the Residents TORRE & Mr.ZAPPARAPPZA will join the turntables to introduce Beats and Flows…we are really looking forward to spin our shit as well. Get ready to freak out. Ringel the BEATS and BassOn.
